Designed for school students in Year 12 (England and Wales)/S5 (Scotland), you’ll discover more about an EY apprenticeship and the wealth of exciting career possibilities available to you.
On this programme, you’ll learn more about what a career in Audit and Tax entails and get an insight into our Business Apprenticeship opportunities.
Across two-days you’ll learn more about the work our apprentices do to make an impact to our people, clients, and communities.
What you will be doing
- Take part in on-the-job case studies, business skills sessions, and networking with current apprentices .
- Have access to senior role models within the business.
- Attend workshops with business leaders.
- You could even be fast-tracked onto one of our 2027 apprenticeship opportunities.
How it’s structured
Get a taste of the real working world with our two-day insight programme:
- You’ll attend a two–day in-person event hosted in one of our EY offices in London (7th-8th April), Leeds, Edinburgh or Birmingham (8th-9th April).
Please note you will be able to apply to any of our office locations but we advise you to apply to the location where you would want to be employed in the future. You will then be invited to the in-person office event at one of the selected locations nearest to you.
For the in-person event, EY will cover reasonable travel costs for you to get to the office. There are no overnight stays for these events and we advise for you to only apply to locations that are within a comfortable commutable distance.

Programme overview
Designed for school students in Year 13 (going into Year 14), you’ll discover more about an EY apprenticeship and the wealth of exciting career possibilities available to you.
This programme will be offered in-person in Belfast on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 August 2026. You’ll learn more about the work our apprentices do at EY from on-the-job case studies, business skills sessions and meeting EY apprentices and leaders.
What you will be doing
- Learning about EY’s approach to inclusivity, sustainability, and technology, whilst participating in interactive sessions to learn about the culture of EY.
- Exploring our different business areas and experiencing what it’s like to begin building a career with impact as an apprentice.
- Taking part in skills development workshops that will help you to prepare for a career at EY alongside personal and professional skills.
- Gaining knowledge of our apprenticeship opportunities at EY and speaking to current apprentices on their career journeys, advice, and top tips.

The Women in Business programme is designed at raising awareness with students who are keen to pursue a career in Audit or Tax. You’ll learn more about our Business Apprenticeship programmes, gain insight into the business areas of Audit and Tax, all under the guidance of our empowering female colleagues.
Across two-days you’ll learn more about the work our apprentices do to make an impact to our people, clients, and communities, and hear from our EY Women’s Network about the structured support, training and opportunities available for all our people. You’ll also engage, and network with inspiring female role models from all levels across EY, who have developed inspirational careers, overcome challenges and made a real impact.

Our Newcastle office runs two degree apprenticeship programmes – ‘Business Leadership and Management Practice’ and ‘Digital and Technology Solutions’.
On this programme, you’ll learn more about what a career in Consulting (client-facing work) or Core Business Services (internal-facing work) entails and get an insight into those degree apprenticeship opportunities.
Across one day, you’ll learn more about the work our Consulting apprentices at EY in Newcastle do to make an impact to our people, clients and communities.
